My black gums used to be pink
My beautiful little pink gums are turning darker and the lower parts are black! Im not a smoker (Im 11), I brush my teeth day and night, I see the dentist every 6 months (I saw the dentist 2 weeks ago), and I have heard its common in African Americans (which I am.) Is it bad? Can it effect my health? Can I somehow turn it back eventually? PLEASE! Im just a confused, 11 year old girl who's gums are changing color!
