    B/S 8hp troy built tiller w/electric start.
I've got a four year old Troy Built tiller with a batter and electric start. I want to do away with the battery and still have electric start like my snow blowers do. Any one know what I have to do to change this over?

    Thanks, Bob Henning

Are you sure you want to do this? The old starter is 12 vdc and your snow blower is most likely 120 vac so an entire new starter motor must be installed. Not all engines accept both. Starter run about $60-75 and you will need to jury rig some wiring harassness or purchase a complete harness, More $$

I believe that Tecumseh sells it in a complete kit with momentary switch and cord. I don't know if briggs offers one.
