    violation of first offender probation
My bbs father was sentenced to seven years for a possession of cocaine charge. He did three in prison three on paper and he had one left on probation. He recently violated it with another vop of possession of meth and a fire arm in another county . Will they give him the whole seven again or just what's left an let the other county deal with the new charges??

First very likely, depending on the firearms charge he will be doing 3 to 10 years just on that new charge. So how long he gets for violation will most likely mean nothing.
Not sure what 3 years on paper means, but he can get his entire probation time back in prison for the violation, but most likely the time he has to serve on new charges will be longer anyway.

Three years on paper is probation. Really were not worrying about the other county charges cause he worked something out with the dea. Were worrying about the vop of seven years

He already did 3, so he can't do them over, but ever how many years was the probation, he can do all of them.

His deal should have included his POV before he agreed to anything with DEA

Please just have him talk to his attorney

Did he get 7 years probation after he served 3 years in prison ? Then yes he could be made to serve all 7 but most likely his attorney will show it was more than first sentence and get it down to just 4 years
