Furnace goes on and then you hear the click but will not lite. There is no glow in fire box. Small red lite blinks three time then wait a couple seconds and blink again and does it again and again

What make and model is the furnace. There should be a diagnostic code chart on the inside of the blower door cover that will tell you what the three blinks means. Normally, three blinks means pressure switch failed to close, or is stuck closed.
