    Toilet and drain
While installing my new washer/dryer into my very old trailer house we discovered a leak under my house. It is coming from the drain directly below the toilet on the fixture that everything else that drains ties into. One of the arms on the side is cracking away from the main part of the fixture. I am told that the whole fixture will have to be replaced and in order to do so the toilet will have to be removed. BIG job - too big for me and therefore I need to hire someone. My question is "Approximately how much ($) should I expect to have to pay to have this done?". I just don't want to get taken to the cleaners and I also don't want to underpay someone who is offering to help.

Prices differ depending on many factors...

Call 3 plumbers, get 3 free estimates, ask lots of questions and go with the one you feel the most comfortable. Otherwise, there is really no way of quoting you a price without seeing the job.

    Back to you. Milo
