    Puppy vomiting
Hello I have a 6 month jack Russell terrier. On say night he had a pigs ear ( not his first one) and Sunday morning a mouth full off tinned food before he could be stopped apprised from his normal dry mix. On Sunday he had the runs in the evening he stuck his nose up at his dinner but about 3 hours later threw up what looked like dog food. I starved him till Monday evening and offered him a few soaked biscuits which he ate but 2 hours later threw up. Tuesday morning I offered him a few biscuits which he ate and then did a solid poo. Tues eve I offered him a few more and he ate, same on Wednesday morn and evening again only a hand full then on we'd night 1 hours after eating was sick his biscuits and did a soft but not runny poo. But is acting normal apart from being sick and inconsistent poos? What does anyone suggest?

I think he needs a consistent diet. I don't understand the 'soaked biscuits' - soaked in what? And why not back on his regular dry food, with a little canned food mixed in, if that's his normal diet?
I don't see much wrong for a puppy who had a pig's ear or two. He's too young for a lot of that.

Just a little warm water to soften so his stomach doesn't have work so hard to break down the dry mix. Had that always. He doesn't have tinned food And does well on biscuit with a little water soaked in. He doesn't have a whole ear only small bits as its good for his teeth and I watch him chew it to tiny tiny bits before eating those bits.

You need to find a diet and stick with it. A dogs stomach is very sensitive. Switching foods, multiple treats, everything you've been doing, will lead to an upset stomach, the runs, and a very unhappy and potentially unhealthy dog.

Find a food he likes and stick with it. Stop switching foods every day. Also, cut out the treats, he doesn't need them. Treats should be saved as a training tool only.
