    Washer Floods Bathtub
My washer drains and I notice water coming from UP UNDER the bathtub (downstairs) into the bathroom floor. The water appears fairly slowly thought it doesn't appear to be clean water. The toilet has drained itself all all water and the bathtub doesn't drain wall. When the washer drains I also hear bubbling noises from the downstairs sink and toilet. I am completely at a loss. The water is actually coming from below the quarter-round time under the tub. Any help would be muchly appreciated. ~ Sandy

Typo. . Second sentence from the end should be 'quarter-round trim' not 'time'. Duh! Thanks, everybody! ~ Sandy

    Hi sannybear
And welcome to The Plumbing Page at ANHD.com. You're responding to a 7 year old dead threads so I gave you one of your own. Please check the date before you post. Thanks
The toilet has drained itself all all water and the bathtub doesn't drain wall.
Are you saying that you lost all the water out of the toilet bowl?
I also hear bubbling noises from the downstairs sink and toilet.
This is caused by a flush or a fixture drain hitting a partial blockage and bouncing back sending a bubble of sewer gas ahead of it, And there's your "bubble" .
It sounds like you have two issues.
1- A blockage in your drainage **and**
2- A faulty connect in the downstairs bathtub,
The solution would be to snake the sewer line from the downstairs toilet and then check the drainage and trap in the downstairs bathtub. Good luck, Tom
