    Breaking my lease
    I want to break my lease, I live in sc an I need to move out of state. I read my agreement and it said there's a fee of 1500 to break the lease. My queshtion is if I pay that all off will my credit still go bad?

    No, If the lease offers an early termination clause, then, by satisfying the terms of the clause, you can terminate the lease legally.

    And your credit only goes "bad" if they report something not paid. Most landlords do not report to credit agency, The exception is if they get a judgement from the court.

    But if the agreement gives you a buy out, then you are not reported
