    My stool is charcoal black
    For the past week in a half stomach pains , constipated , queasiness, and my stool is charcoal black is there something I can get over the counter so I don't have to go to the hospital?

    I am not a doctor or nurse, but dark stool can indicated bleeding high up in your digestive system. Some foods and also iron can turn the stool black. The pain and queasiness say something is going on inside you for sure. No one can diagnose you via the Internet. My advice is to go to the ER and deal with this before it gets worse.
