    Florida Home Foreclosure Law
My husband and I are both retired and on SS with no other income, I have a FL property that I have been trying to sell for over a year. We now live in TX in a trailer home my son owns, My question is can the mortgage company attach any liens or such to my relatively new husbands property in WI, if I go into foreclosure on the FL property.
We no other income other that SS and no money in any back account, We are broke and desperate.

If you aren't listed as an owner of the WI property they can't touch it.

As I recall, Texas is a community property state and Wisconsin is not. But in any event, I believe the Wisconsin property belonging to the husband would be considered pre-marital under Texas law, and thus safe.
