    Fixing water softeners
    My water softener unit discharged water through the drain for many days continuously. I used the bypass on he unit and the water stopped. Is this an easy fix. Can I do it? 22 years old, is it worth it?

    They can be rebuilt but at that age parts may be hard to find and whatelse can go out soon. What brand and model do you have? This sounds like a failed solenoid
