I was On and off for three years with my ex girlfriend. I broke up with her 2 years ago officially not to be with any one else but because I didn't want to be tied down. Ive always known she was the one for me but she holds so much resentment towards me. She believes if I never left her she would gotten pregnant in the first place. The father of her child is phsyco and has no respect for her. My ex and I are now together again. And I am in love with her and her child but It seems she is guarded and a bit selfish in her ways of loving me and has pictures of her baby's daddy and her up in our place and text him constantly when with me. I am hurt because I once thought I would have her first child and she went through all those amazing experiencens with a douche bag I know she loves me but I feel disrespected and clueless how to make right my situation, is it possible to make things work with her and how?

The child is here, and there's no going back in time to change who the father is. The father may not be fit, or in your term "psycho" but for better or worse, he is the child's father. Because of that your girlfriend will have to have contact with him for the rest of her life. There's no getting around that.

If you can't handle this man being a part of her life and the life of this child, then it's best that you get out now and find someone without this sort of lifelong attachment.

When you date a woman with a child, you have to accept that child and it's father.
