I have a dark red blood blister on my clitoris. What could it be?
I am married, and my husband and I have only been with each other, so STD's are ruled out. Please no negative answers. I am just worried, and will go to the doctor at the end of the week if it's not gone. It looks like it is just part of my skin (not elevated). My husband thinks it is a blood blister from rubbing on jeans or during intercourse, or possibly from shaving, but I am so scared because I have never had anything like this at all. It is a little sensitive but does not itch. I also noticed by using a mirror down there that there is white discoloration on the inside of one of my lips. I'm not sure if this has anything to do with that or if it is a normal color... There is no odor or anything like that. And I am a very clean person, especially when it comes to my hygiene. Any answers will help. Thanks in advance.

Hmmm... I've never heard of anything like this. Don't worry yourself too much, that'll only make it worse. But do update us on your condition when you return from your appointment.

Pimples, blisters, cysts are all very common. White might be a yeast infection, treatable with OTC products like Monistat. Do you shave? Yes, that increases the chances of ingrown hairs and nicks that can get infected.

Seeming how she hasn't been back since she posted this question I highly doubt that you're going to get your answer.

Talk to your doctor. While it might seem like this is similar to your case, chances are it's not. To assume so could cause you undue harm.
