I have a Red T gas furnace model number: DGAA077BDTA. The Green light flashes once, I was wondering if it could be the gas valve?

Red T is the same as Evcon Coleman. Does the flame ever light? If not, during the ignition process is there a glow in the burner area? If I remember right, that furnaces uses a hot surface ignitor.
