    Contempt of court
I have filed for contempt of court. I filed the Ex Patre Motion for Order to show cause RE: contempt, & the Affidavit supporting ex parte motion for order to show cause RE: Contempt. I also gave the courts an Order to show cause for contempt (personal appearance required). The Judge did not sign the Order to show cause for contempt (personal appearance required) and has set a hearing for the 10th of Dec. My question is: Do I attend the hearing and see if the judge signs the order, then serve the other party with the Order to show cause for contempt, Ex Patre Motion for Order to show cause, and the order? Or should these documents be served prior to the court hearing, for them to attend as well? Is this just an initial hearing to see if the motion is substantiated, or is this a hearing for both parties?

    Thank you
