. Reverse flush the heater core. When the heater is on and the engine is at normal operating temperature, compare the heat in the lines going into and out of the heater core. That should tell you if the core needs flushing.

VonoreTN, Sometimes when the heater fan is turned on, it works. Sometimes it does not. When it does not, sometimes it can be coaxed to start by tapping up underneath the dash under the glove compartment. What is located in there that might be loose? Thanks, Larry
