Why energy saver light bulb would flash in the off position on an exhaust fan light
Why does the energy saver light bulb flash in the off position on an exhaust fan light fixture? A regular light bulb does not flash. This has two switches. One running the light and one running the fan.

Fluorescent lamps can flicker with no power to it due to radio waves, is there a radio tower close by?

No radio tower around, it doesn't flicker with a standard bulb

Micrrowave oven at proximity will make it flicker. Don't like to use one of those over a stove due to the potential for mercury getting into food if the bulb breaks.
