All right I'm 18 years old currently working at McDonald's (for a year and a half) and I'm going to be a manager sometime in December, right now my paycheck ranges from $400-$500 a paycheck I normally take $150 out of each paycheck so I have 50 for gas and 100 for what ever comes up then I put the rest in the bank. My question is should I keep doing things that way or keep 1 entire paycheck then only take 50 dollars out of each other paycheck for gas and put the rest in the bank then when I run out of cash keep the next paycheck after that and so on and so forth.

It doesn't matter if you even it out each week or bank an entire paycheck, as long as your savings are the same each month. It sounds like you are living with your parents, so saving as much as you can is good preparation for the HUGE expenses of living on your own. Saying '100 for whatever' needs to be documented so you know where your money goes. Get a book and write down expenses under columns: food, gas, insurance, car repair, clothes, personal, entertainment, gifts. Later you will have rent and utilities.
