"I am 17 and female..I have a best friend,I know this girl from only like say two years and we just love each other's company. And it is only recently I said her that I consider her my best friend, the point is I have had , in fact still have a close group of friend..These three people I know from past 7 years and before my best friend happened let us just call her Meg, I think my relation with my group went downhill ! And frankly I can't make a choice as to with whom I should stay. My group of other 3 friends are someone with whom I have lived my childhood and Meg is someone with whom I can connect."

Why can you not continue your friendship with all of them and this girl still be your best friend? I don't understand your problem.

Yeah I don't understand why can't you just bring "Meg" into you group of three friends? If you get along with all 4 of them why couldn't they all get along too? I honestly think you are in a good situation... Having 4 really close friends? Sounds pretty great to me :)

Well, Meg has another best friend and none of my friends like her..
My group has no problem with Meg,we are pretty tight but this girl let us call her X is not liked by anyone
It is not that I have to make a choice but sometimes I honestly get confused where I find my calling, with whom ? :/

All of your friends don't have to like each other and your friends don't dictate who you like.
You can have a friendship with all of them.

Your friends can learn to like her... you found a reason to so why can't they? :) Just invite all of them over to your house for a sleepover or a movie or something! :)
