    What shows up when your passport is scanned
    I am crossing into the states and I have pending charges will that show up when they scan my passport. I am travelling with 8 people who are not aware of this situation and id rather not be embarrassed

    That is kind of difficult to advise on. For instance, people travelling into Canada, having their passport scanned, are not allowed with even a DWI (driving while intoxicated). Bear in mind that Canada is a foreign country to the US so it is an international border.

    What are the pending charges? You have not been convicted of any?

    I would advise to call US Immigration and discuss this with them, to make sure that you will be allowed in, otherwise it might well be an embarrassment
