    How to become bulimic?
    I'm a Filipino - Chinese guy who weighs about 108 pounds. I'm 13 and I really want to lose weight. Don't say, "Oh no! Don't become bulimic!" I've heard that enough. Just give me tips, please.

    Jog once a day for 45 minutes to and hour.
    Join a team sport, like Hockey.
    Its hard to keep weight on when you are really active.

    Bulimia is a serious emotional disease which is life threatening. It ruins your teeth very quickly because your stomach acid erodes the enamel on your teeth, so you could loose all your teeth very young. It also screws up the chemical balance of your body and can cause heart attacks, even in very young people. It can also make your hair fall out from malnutrition, among many other bad effects. It does not make you better looking - it makes you look sickly, like a cancer patient. It can cause strokes, heart attacks and seizures.

    You are basically asking people to give you "tips" on killing yourself. For what? To weigh less?

    108 is not at ALL overweight and you are not anywhere near done growing in height. Do not focus on losing weight - focus on living healthy, and you will be strong and fit. Get involved in some kind of sports or exercise. If you don't like team sports, there are a lot of things you can do on your own like lifting weights, even at home, or running. Choose healthy foods - fruit instead of chips, for example. As an Asian person, if your family eat Asian food, it is generally very healthy.

    It sounds like you are afraid to grow into an adult man, but you can't stop it, so be the fittest and healthiest growing adult man you can be. It sounds like you need to work on your self-image and come to terms with what a healthy weight and size will be for you. 108 is not high AT ALL. I'm a woman and weight more than you at your age! And I was not fat!

    Talk to your parents, doctor or the nurse at school - they are all there to help you.
