bank account frozen for two weeks
my husband went to court his x is filing for custody, in the mean time our account was frozen by judge to apparently verify funds that were given to my husband from his x wife's father for his portion of the home, as he was bought out

in the mean time, we have not received a release on the account and we need the funds. Is it legal for her attorney to have our account frozen just to verify bank transactions from a year ago

There should be no need to freeze the account to "verify" transactions. I suspect the account is frozen to recover the funds. What does your attorney say?
