I accidentally sprayed my outdoor electrical outlet with water.
It was working before and now it doesn't. The breaker box switches have all been checked and none were thrown. I replaced the outlet with a new weather proof receptacle and water proof cover for outdoor use. Before I replaced the outlet I tested the hot wire and it had no electricity. Where should I look next to restore power to this outlet?

You likely tripped a GFI Receptacle. Check other outside Outlets, 1 GFI can protect them all.
May also be inside the House.

Painter sprayed outdoor unit [ 2 Answers ]

Help. I just found out, through an ac tecnician, that my ac isn't working right because it is apparent that my painter did not cover my outdoor unit when spraying paint onto my house. It is verry obvious as the ac is painted and coated. Is there any hope beyond complete replacement?
