    Knocking pipes
When using hot water in the upstairs bath the pipes sound like they knock against each other with a fairly rapid clicking sound. When not in use the clicking is intermittent with short duration. I live in Eastern Iowa.
    Thank you

Is it a metallic noise? The pipe straps may be missing or not installed or loose. Or you may have a loose washer in the stop or the faucet.
