    Sickness bugs
This may sound like a really silly question, but I've read a lot about catching sickness bugs from flushing the loo and particles in the air. Someone in my household had a bug about 3 months ago, and our toilet is bleached daily. If I flush the loo now, and breathe in any particles, is there a chance some of the bug particles still being there to make.me ill?

I'm not sure where you are reading this? You are in more danger from inhaling too much bleach than you are from 'bugs' or 'particles' in the air from flushing.

Everything from bacteria to mites live on our skin and inside our bodies. Some are beneficial, such as bacteria that help digest food, and some are not, such as ones that cause infection. The bad ones are fought by various defenses in us, such as white blood cells.

There is a lot of evidence that too much cleaning, bleaching, and use of anti-bacterial soaps can destroy our ability to fight off the bad ones.
