    Ceiling fan
I have a ceiling fan w/remote. The light works but the fan doesn't. What could be the problem and is there anyway to bypass the remote feature and just use the pull chain

This could be a number of things. To start you might be able to by pass the remote that depends on what kind you have. I would start by checking the connections at the fan you may just have a loose wire. Also I have hung one new fan that has a switch inside the housing that had to be in the on position to make the remote work the fan but check the installation instruction for that. This in not a normal switch I have hung hundreds of fans and only seen one with it. So really need more info to help.
