    Married only in paper.
    I'm going out with a guy, he is divorcing but the divorce is being delayed because he is insolvent, his wife of 'ex wife' stays far from where he stays, she took everything that belonged to her out of the house
    They used to stay at. I am a christian, I feel like I'm sleeping with a married man, I have told him how I feel and he said I should not feel bad bacause he is only married legally, he has not seen her in a year. Should I be worried or take his word for it?

    Worry... I bet he is still seeing her and still having sex with her...

    People lie about this sort of thing all the time.. and its not just men that do it.

    And in any case... if he isn't divorced... then yes he actually still IS a married man... in every definition of the word...

    I agree with smoothy. Yes, he is married whether he lives with his wife. Until the divorce papers are signed, he is still married no matter how he explains his status to you.
