    Plumbing how to question
I have a youth camp, I need to replace 3 water heaters which all three heaters will provide water to both shower sides at the same time. How should I plumb them? Using a manifold method or in a series?

    Hii L Jordison

I'd plumb them up in series and I would install a THERMOSTATIC TEMPERING VALVE (see image) at the outlet of the final heater.

Check with your local plumbibng inspector as to what temperature he wants you to set for the showers and/or the sinks. Here, this could require that you run 112F-115F tempered water to the showers, but keep 120F water going to the sinks. Each plumbing inspector/state will have different requirements, but with this being a youth camp you need to be especially careful in setting temperatures to all devices the children come in contact with!
