    I can concentrate on my studies
    Hi I'm a 18 year old girl.
    My life is a mess.
    My parents are always fighting, my mom hates my dad, and my brother (he's 16)is a jerk he always troubles mom asking for money and shouting at her.
    I can' concentrate on my studies because of this.
    And can watch my mom getting hurt so much, my life basically sucks ryt now
    What should I do?
    My head is messed up!

    Study somewhere else -- at the library or at a coffee shop or diner or at a friend's house. Stay out of the family squabbles.

    OK so I understand exactly how you feel, what I would do is I would go to a friends house or library or I would tell the people who are diatracting me in a nice way they would hopefully understand or just go into the garden if you have a bench or anything clean to study on or even the park that's me and my friends do we would sit on the clean, dry grass and bring a blanket and do our work and sit on that and if the sun is in your eyes go in the shade

    Hey thank you for your advice!
    But apparently here in sri lanka its not like that, we can't just easily go out and hang out with friends. When we do hang out, we have to plan it, and my parents would go and drop me at my friends place or the other places we go to.
    I know it sucks, here we have no freedom to just go out like that. The main reason for that is the transport problem, since here public transport sucks and is not safe.
    So I am stuck at home. And I have to help out my mom I can't just leave her, she needs me, I am her only support.
    Sigh everything is messed up for me.
    You guys are lucky since your'll could just avoid these problems and go out. But I don't even have that option
