My boyfriend asked me for a "break".
My boyfriend and I have been together for a month and he already asking me for a "break". We got into an argument reason is because he tells me he loves me but I sometimes doubt it and just because he really doesn't show it to me. BUT I don't want to lose him, I think by giving him a break will end up in breakup. And if he really love me like he says he should be able to work things out and move on. So I'm really confused! Should I just call it quit or what?

Sorry to hear that... A month isn't very long, id take the risk and take a "break" If he truly is into you he won't move on , hell call and you'll know it. If he does move on he wasn't worth it anyway. Use the time he is having a '' break" to be real honest with yourself about what you want, and changes to make to make either this relatinship or one in the future last. I like the movie Hes Just Not That Into You. You should rent it, eat comfort food, give him his " to be real honest with yourself about what you want, and changes to make to make either this relatinship or one in the future last. Girls have totally different expectations than guys do as to "showing love." Girls want the guys to be all over them, hugging, kissing, holding hands, showing affection in public, whereas guys have other says of showing their girls they love them, and not with physical actions.

Have you been expecting physical proof and PDAs that he likes you?

    - Not really. I mean he does kiss me in public, hold hands and hug me but I haven't meet his family . I don't ask for much just to be part of his life. I'm not an affecting person neither. It's hard for me to show my feelings but he knows my family and friends. So why can't it be the other way around too?

It has been only a month. That's like nothing in the cosmic order of relationships.

I think maybe you are moving to fast, and expect too much. Its only been a month so relax, and enjoy getting use to each other without all the drama and doubts.

He isn't as ready as you are to be so close and clingy.

    - Yeah, I think you are right. I guess I'll just let him have his space.
