    How to cheek for short circuit inboiler wireing
    I detect a defective transformer in my hot water boiler electrical circuit.How can I cheek for short circuit before replacement.

    Is the breaker tripped?
    Short circuit in the transformer or source circuit?

    If the transformer isn't putting out the required voltage on the load side, then it is bad, replace it. Why it is bad doesn't matter, you can't repair it.
