I am 23 years old and I already have a 4 year old daughter that I love more than life... Now I am pregnant again. 7 months to be exact. Just the other day the father of my second child got arrested and the charges he has can land him in jail for some years. I am alone and have no family nearby. I don't have anything for the baby. I don't have a job. I am staying with a friend. And honestly I just don't know what to do. I am so scared and so alone. I love my baby's father so very much and I don't want to be without him and I feel like this is so very unfair to my daughters and I.

There's really only one thing you can do, and that's to prepare yourself to raise this baby on your own.

If he's going to prison, which it sounds like he won't be able to avoid, based on your other thread, than you have no choice but to be without him.

You ask friends and family to help, but basically you have to plan to do this on your own. You really don't have any other option.

I'm sorry, I know that's not what you want to hear, but it's what you need to know.

What's not fair is that the father of your baby got himself arrested for doing something illegal.

Check out Catholic Charities (transitional housing and other helps), Lutheran Social Services (similar services to CC), or call your county's human resources office to find out near-by helps.
