    Remove shower drain plug
Need to remove hair clog in shower drain. The plug is controlled by a ring at the end of the fauset, which is handy to use but I have no idea how to get the plug out of the way to snake it. Thanks in advance for your help.

Is that a (very) old shower ? Is it shower only or tub/shower combo ? Can you snap a pic of it and post it for us ?

Milo's on to something. Showers don't have plugs. Tubs do and if you're trying to snake a tub you can't do it from the drain. You have to snake it from the overflow. If you need instructions on how to do that click on back and we'll be glad to assist. Back to you, tom

My bathroom sink is plugged solid. I tried to use snake under sink but can't seem to get it in very far. There is an old corroded clean out sticking out of the wall behind the toilet so I removed the toilet to get at it but it doesn't budge. It has a square nut on the top of what looks to be a...
