Is this meonpause?
I am 43 and have had ETREMELY heavy periods for 10 years now to where I have to wear an Ultra Absorbancy Tampon and Large Pad and change both of them every 3-4 hours or risk leakage of both protection devices. The ultra absorbancy tampon usually starts to leak within an hour and the pad and tampon are then changed after 2-3.
This month is totally different. I only have a little watery discharge with a very tiny tinge of blood in it. I am not pregnant because I had my tubes tied 17 years ago.
Can perimenopause take you from an EXTREMELY heavy period all your life (including last month) to a non existing period this month? Can menopause cause such a drastic change in just 30 days?
My mother and her sisters went through menopause at the age of 53.
I do not have hotflashes or any other symptoms.
