    Is it legal to keep money you find on the floor of a store area?
    Just a question that happened to cross my mind.

    Of course it isn't legal or ethical. Someone probably needs that money, who lost it. Turn it in to the courtesy desk and tell them exactly where you found it.

    Why would you ask here, do the right thing if you are the one who found it; if not, you are wasting our time on here.
