    Hot water vavle won't shut off
    How can I change faucet without having to change shut off valve as well

    Turn off the house water, turn off the water to the hot water heater, turn off the angle shops under the sink. Have to shut off the water somewhere. After water id off, change the faucet and install a new shutoff.
