What happens if someone had a dui got probation in Florida, moved to Georgia commits an act of fraud by pretending to be someone via a letter to obtain $1500 from Florida and puts it into their bank account in Georgia while still on probation for DUI

The two have nothing to do with each other. The identity theft and fraud are a separate case. If convicted of that, the probation for DUI could be considered violated and that sentence could be forced to be served after relase on the fraud.

This is a felony and there would be two or three charges, Fraud, ID theft, and since it was by letter perhaps even postal fraud. Most likely get 3 to 5 years, with about 1 to 2 to actually serve. The probation since it is another state may not allow the time to be served with the GA time, so they may have to return to FL and serve the revoked probation
