    Removing unwanted roommate
I came across this site by accident using publishers' clearing house search and win and I'm glad I did because it's been a year since my roommate has made any contribution towards the rent and now his friend (also jobless) is in there with him. They broke into my room a couple of times, I found change missing not much so I just took everything of value out but I don't want to keep it in my car either. Neither of them are on the lease and I have been here 20 years, It's getting under my skin!

Welcome. But you should start a new thread instead of adding your post onto an old one. It's less confusing that way.

And you failed to ask a question.

You want these people out? In order to get a court eviction order against them you will probably have to give them prior notice in writing. The period of notice will depend on your jurisdiction and whether they agreed to pay you rent.

Or, you could call the police and report them for theft.
