    Removal of glass blocks
    I have a glass block wall and the center section has blue block and I want to remove that section and leave the perimiter block in place -- the rplace the center area with a aluminum frame and frosted glass --- Thanks for any help

    Are the joints in a row up and down or staggered? The only real way is to cut the grouting out and remove the block. How big a piece are we talking about? I have removed single blocks that were broken. Use a multi-tool and a carbide grit cutter, slide the block out. Then you need to build a support shim to hold the new piece up, grout 3 sides, remove the shim and grout the bottom.
