My last period was sep. 22. I masturbated with a toy on the 29, one day after I was done with my period. However, I put a condom that I used 4 months ago, on the toy. Before using the condom, I washed it with soap & water. I also our Vaseline on it. I think the sperm probably died. Now, I was supposed to get my period oct. 20, & it's been 3 days late. Also, I ovulated between the 3-8 of sep.. If the condom would've had sperm, I couldn't have been fertilized because I wasn't ovulating. I took a pregnant. Test 3 daya before my expected period. It was negative. I took another one the day I was supposed to get my period. It was negative. I took another pregnant. Test 3 days after my expected period. It was negative. I want to know if I'm pregnant. Could that sperm survive the 4 months & washing w/ soap & hot water? Also, I've been so anxious I can't sleep right. Maybe that's why my period's delayed. What do you guys think? Did that sperm survive? Am I pregnant. Thanks guys!

No, that sperm didn't survive 4 months. It's impossible.

Now, try using a new condom each time from now on.

Then why am I getting a late period? I could be irregular at times though. One time I got my period a week early. What do you think? THANK U SO MUCH!

No, sperm can not last 4 days, so not even 4 months.

It could be infection from a 4 month old used condom, god I don't even want to think of germs it could have.

If there has been no sex, there is no need to test, you can't be pregnant from what you did.

Next how do you know ovulation dates, are you tracking temp and doing a ovulation chart? Those online, number of days from last period, do not work for all women, they are only a average for some women, some women may ovulate the week after and so on. Pregnancy can happen, with sex, even during period.

But also women just miss a period every now and then

Don't waste your money on another test, it's impossible to get pregnant this way.

Thanks! Believe me, I've done 8 tests. You probably know how much $ that is. I'm just worried because I haven't gotten my period.

What could be from an infection? I just have regular flow. It doesn't smell. It has a normlal color too. I knew I was ovulating because of the cervical mucus & the predictors online. However, I think I ovulated late this month because the cervical mucis came in later than predicted online. Also, I am currently getting fertile cervical mucus. I'm scared I'm getting it worried with the discharge pregnant. Women have when they are in their early pregnant.. What do you think? Thank you so much by the way!

I'm 19. I do know how it happens. I was freaking out because I'm paranoid, & maybe sperm could've been in it. Please help me though. I'm worried because I don't get ny period. That's why. Four tests have been - but why don't I get it! It's been 4 days.

Okay, you need to stop worrying about pregnancy from this incident. As I've said before it's impossible this way.

You could have missed your period for many reasons, stress over this is just one reason. Some women miss a period for no reason at all at least once in their lifetime.

I'm desperate. I'm extremely paranoid. I have a pregnant. Test left. Should I take it in 3 days? I'm sorry for the bother J_9.

You can take it if it would ease your mind, but as a registered nurse I can promise you that you cannot get pregnant by using a 4 month old condom.

So which is it? Based on this and then the fact that people keep telling you that it's IMPOSSIBLE to get pregnant from what you said you did yet you keep going on and on with the same question... I find your post hard to believe.

Look, this is reallyl getting frustrating. This is the last time I'm going to tell you that getting pregnant by using a condom that is 4 months old will not get you pregnant.

Within a half an hour the sperm is dried up and dead never to be revived.

Now, if you have had actual real intercourse that would be a different story.

You are not getting your period because you are so stressed out and you will not get it until you relax and realize the impossibility of your situation.

I did take 8, but the last 4 are the ones that count because it was close to my expected period days. The first 4 were too early, so I disregard them
