    When is per diem taxable income
    A crewmember flys round-trip turns from their home domicile. Their travel workday is less than 8 hours a day. They return home to sleep within the same day. Are they eligible for per diem and if so, what do the regulations say regarding whether it's considered taxable income.

    No, they are NOT eligible for per diem because they take their sleep break at their residences.
