    Free Electrical Questions
    I would like to know the cost of installing a single lite switch a single receptacle in afinished wall made of lathe and plaster. Going to my basement. Wire usage would be about 40 ft. my box is in the basement the sw is going to 3 small can lites over a bar a box was built for them. The receptacle is for a TV that will will be moun in the same area forming a l shape.

    Since most of the cost is labor, its hard to say. The cost for materials is less than $50. Realistically, a lot is determined by local labor costs. NYC is a lot more than rural Alabama. My guess would be in the $200-250 range, about average for the Atlanta area.
