We have an old Florida home with one bath. In spite of our best efforts, smells tend to linger after flushing the toilet. Could we have a hole or break in our vent pipe, and could that be the cause?

I have a downstairs toilet and upstairs toilet ,one above the other.. The soil/stench pipe connects upwards to above the Roof heaves and downward into the sewer... Hi, I have 4 separate 2 inch vent pipes that will be coming from different parts of the house and all pass through the attic. Is it permissible to tie all of these together in the attic so that I only have 1 3" pipe that passes through the roof? Thanks for the help Kevin View more questions Search
