Diy tile floor over linoleum small bathroom
Is it necessary to remove the toilet? I read that I should do it, but I'm looking for the easiest way to get this done and it seems a little overboard to do this. Aside from that, I want to do it by myself and I'm concerned the toilet may be too heavy for me to move since I'm 110 lbs. I may be wrong and please let me know if it is easier than I think. Additionally, the person who owned the house before took a lot of shortcuts and I'm concerned the floor underneath of the linoleum may have some problems, but my fiancé is the owner and says it's fine to just tile over it. Thoughts? And thanks for your response.

First, what kind and size of tile, ceramic or vinyl?
And how old is the house (or what is the subfloor in that bathroom)?

The subfloor is wood, and I have not chosen tiles yet since I don't know I will definitely go through with it if it is too much work... I have a small child at home and can't do it if it's too time consuming.
