We have a 3 year old female lab who is licking and biting her front left paw. We used a bitter spay which she now likes the taste. We wrap her paw. What is wrong with our dog?

I don't know, labs seem to have this problem; sometimes it is anxiety, sometimes it is a cut or bruise. Has she been walking anywhere lately where she could acquire a splinter in her paw, around a pad? Of course she tears the wrappings off, right?
