Help me. My only friend sometimes does drugs. What should I do?

This is a tough one because you want to be a loyal friend but your friend is doing something really dangerous and unhealthy, not to mention illegal.

This is one of those times when you have to consider what is safe, ethical and the right thing to do and not worry about the consequences. The right thing to do is to tell either your friend's parents, your parents or the school counselor. If you go to the school counselor, they might be willing to keep the fact that you told this secret to themselves so your friend will not be mad at you.

In any event, your friend being mad at you is not an issue. You have an obligation to be a good friend, and in this case, being a good friend requires you to go against your friend's wishes. Just like if you were threatening suicide or something, only a crappy friend would keep that a secret, right? A good friend would do everything they could to help you, like telling your parents so they could get you into a hospital. Do the right thing. Your friend might be mad, but they will be safe, which is more important.
