Dr. Bill,

I just got a job offer of my dreams, making double of my previous salary.

Only one problem. They hair test. In fact, I have to take both a hair and urine test. Im quite sure I'll pass the urine test, but the hair test is freaking me out.

Question 1: is there a reason companies make prospective employees take both a urine and a hair test at the same time?

Question 2: I don't know what the definition of an "infrequent user" is. About 3 weeks ago, I smoked weed 3 times within the span of four or five days. Prior to that, I might have smoked weed like 3 or four times over 2-3 months. I'm really not a chronic user at all, so much so that its hard for me to recall the periods I smoked. It was pretty much "here and there". Some months I won't smoke at all, and others I might smoke once or twice.

Given this info, do you think I pass my drug test?

They do this because they are serious about no drug use. I would expect random checks also.

I guess the only issue I have is now you are worried, before the job offer, you are OK, using illegal drugs. But now for something you want,?

I'm honestly never smoking again.. it just isn't worth it. I should be celebrating getting such an awesome job, but I've spent the last few days freaking out... and scouring the Internet relentlessly..
