    Black dye over highlighted hair
    I got honey coloured highlights which I dislike as it turned out to be lighter than what I expected. To fix the issue, my hair dresser dyed only the highlighted hair into a natural black (using semi-permanent hair dye from L'oreal). Was this the right thing to do? Also, how long will take for my hair to return to its normal colour given that parts of it are brown and parts are black?
