    Placing a lien on jointly owned property.
    Is it possible or advisable to place a lien on your own jointly owned property to block the co-owner from trying to sell it?

    Nothing you can do can prevent a co-owner from forcing a partition sale.

    And how and for what do you intend to do this anyway?

    If you want to keep it.. offer to buy them out of their share.
