I have a British Gas 330 (5yrs old) - Have an f1 fault - failure to ignite, the first couple of times I reset and it worked for about 12 hours but now nothing.

Once I reset it tries for about 20 seconds and then shuts off with fault F1, If it has been swithc ed off for several hours then tends to work for 3 -5 minutes
Don't know much about but pump sounds like it is working

Also seem to have have small leak coming from underneath boiler.

THen went to turn on immersion heater which has also not worked. To my knowledge this is the 1st time we have turn ed the immersion on since instalation.

Any ideas ?

Your boiler is a complex unit and I suggest you only have it service by a qualified boiler repair man. This is not a simple unit of many years gone by but contains multiphase control boards/relays etc.
